About the event
Emily Dickinson is one of America’s greatest poets, yet she lived a life of self-imposed seclusion in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her work was not publicly recognized during her lifetime, only published posthumously. Paddy Lynn’s historical interpretation helps us understand this shy, private woman.
Paddy Lynn created Paddy Lynn Storyacting 25-years ago. Storyacting merges storytelling with acting in age-appropriate programs for children from age 3 to adults. For the past 20 years, she has also served as the Artistic Director of The Kirk Players, a not for profit community theatre group that John W. Lynn, her father-in-law, established five decades ago in Mundelein. She believes in helping people use their creative skills throughout their lives.
