About the event
Irena Sendler was a Polish Social Worker during World War II. She headed up a group of colleagues who outwitted the Nazis and rescued 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto. Her courage and commitment to "doing what is right,", are admirable and inspiring. Her story must be told and there is no better time than now to share it.
